The award-winning Irish band Danú has been performing throughout Europe and the U.S. for more than two decades. The group’s March 7 performance at the Lensic features Irish tunes sung in Irish and English.
Band members play a wide variety of instruments including tin whistle, fiddle, uilleann pipes (Irish bagpipes), button accordion and bodhrán (hand-held, Irish drum).
While some of the members have come and gone through the years, the focus of the group remains the same: to present traditional Irish music to audiences worldwide.
An after-performance celebration with the musicians includes beer and bar food. Tickets to this event cost $50 per person.
