is an online magazine that celebrates the diversity of the Santa Fe arts community through engaging articles about creative individuals and the events they present in town. I want to share fascinating information about some of the upcoming happenings in town to pique your interest in learning more.
I also want Santa Fe Arts Journal and all its social media sites (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and LinkedIn) to be places where people who love the performing and visual arts, whether through practice, patronage or collecting, can connect with one another.
I was Lynn Cline’s special guest on her podcast “Cline’s Corner” (KSFR, Santa Fe Public Radio, 101.1 FM) on November 10, 2017. We had a wonderful 20+ minute conversation about Santa Fe Arts Journal! Here’s the link to the podcast.

Emily Van Cleve, founder/editor
“I understand artists because I live and breathe the arts,” explains Emily Van Cleve, a freelance journalist who wrote about the Santa Fe arts community for local and regional newspapers and magazines for more than 20 years. Emily has been a professional musician, a student of ballet and an amateur performer in musical theater. When she’s not writing about the Santa Fe arts scene, Emily can be found in her studio creating form-based, abstract acrylic paintings.
