is an online magazine that celebrates the arts community in Santa Fe through engaging articles about creative individuals and the events they present in town. One of the goals of Santa Fe Arts Journal is to share fascinating information about some of the upcoming happenings in town to pique your interest in learning more.
Just like the creative visual, performing and literary artists we profile, Santa Fe Arts Journal is a publication that will be constantly growing and evolving. We welcome feedback to help us keep up with what’s currently happening and what’s on the horizon.
“I am so impressed with Santa Fe Arts Journal. It has such a wide variety of stories, all of them nicely written.” Rene Kimball, former editor of the Albuquerque Journal Sunday Arts.

Emily Van Cleve, founder/editor
“I understand artists because I live and breathe the arts,” explains Emily Van Cleve, a journalist who wrote about the Santa Fe arts community for local and regional newspapers and magazines for more than 20 years. Emily has been a professional musician, a student of ballet and an amateur performer in musical theater. When she’s not writing about the Santa Fe arts scene, Emily can be found in her studio creating form-based, abstract acrylic paintings.
