A busy week of performances…
New York-based new media artist, programmer and composer R. Luke DuBois presents the explorative performance ( ((PHONATION)) ) with composer, vocalist and instrumentalist Bora Yoon at SITE Santa Fe on January 20.
Music by Bach, Beethoven and Schubert are part of the first annual “Winter Blues” concert presented by the New Mexico Performing Arts Society (NMPAS) on January 21 at Immaculate Heart of Mary Chapel.
The Santa Fe Symphony rings in the New Year on January 21 at the Lensic Performing Arts Center with a program of works by Brahms, Grieg and Listz.
On January 19 and 20, the Adobe Rose Theatre presents “Firerock: Pass the Spark,” a family-friendly musical that encourages the community to support universal access to clean water, soil, air and energy. Local actors are joined by musicians Molly Sturges, Enrico de Trizio, Jeremy Bleich and Rich Reed.
Seven art collectors function as curators in Offroad Productions’ show “The Collector’s Eye,” which opens on January 20 at Offroad’s Trades West Road location. Each collector has selected one piece that reflects his/her personal taste and vision for contemporary art.
