The High Desert Harps Ensemble performs in First Presbyterian Church’s TGIF Concerts on December 8. Founded in 2001 by Linda Larkin, High Desert Harps Ensemble has performed at galleries, outdoor festivals, church events and Renaissance fairs, playing a diverse repertoire including Latin, Medieval and popular music.
“The 4th Annual Guadalupe Group Art Show” opens at Eye on the Mountain Art Gallery on December 9 with wood carvings by Rob Yancey, Ernie Roybal and Bob Zettler. The opening reception features live electric harp music by Roark Barron and refreshments.
Be sure to buy tickets in advance for the Aspen Santa Fe Ballet’s annual “The Nutcracker” production, which is presented at the Lensic Performing Arts Center on December 16 and 17. ASFB offers a whimsical twist on the classic story and a cast of more than 60 performers.
