It’s a busy holiday season in Santa Fe…
Santa Fe Pro Musica’s annual “A Baroque Christmas” features the Santa Fe Pro Musica Baroque Ensemble and guest soloists Avery Amereau (contralto) and Deborah Domanski (mezzo-soprano) in a concert of works by Handel, Telemann and J.S. Bach. There are a limited number of tickets still available for this very popular performance presented December 20 through 24 in Loretto Chapel.
La Fonda Hotel is the venue for SWAIA’s 2017 Winter Indian Market, which takes place on December 16 and 17 and features the artworks of 150 Native artists, music and dances. It’s a mini version of the summer market, geared toward holiday shopping.
Keep Contemporary’s 1 Year Anniversary Group Show on December 15 includes the work of 40+ artists working in a wide range of media. Enjoy refreshments and music during the three-hour celebration that begins at 5 p.m.
Galleries in the 400 block of Canyon Road-Ventana Fine Art, Mark White Fine Art, Canyon Road Contemporary Art, Wiford Gallery and Pippin Contemporary-throw a holiday block party from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. on December 15 with music, food and art gifts ranging in price from $50 to $1,000.
